I explored Manchester through a series of carefully composed frames, focusing on architecture, streets, sunlight, and small details that give each location its own character.
The footage was shaped around a warm, yellow-toned aesthetic inspired by golden-hour light. Different locations and changing moments were connected through consistent colour, pacing, and composition to create one cohesive visual story.
What started as a personal creative experiment became a commercially valuable piece of content. The finished video was sold to a client, turning an original visual concept into a deliverable with real-world creative and commercial value.
The video has such a beautiful feel to it. I really liked the warm colours, the way the different locations were connected, and how naturally everything flowed together. It felt cinematic without being overdone, and I knew it was something I wanted to use.
